When I grew up, my housegods was Bernie Wrightson, Sergio Toppi, Franklin Booth and the great Jean Giraud aka Moebius. I became addicted to the extensive inkstyle of these artists. Toppi seems to have been totally free and unafraid in his experiments and rendering of structures and textures, Booth and Wrightson had no limits and Moebius was and is like a God of creation, working the paper with his pencil and inkbrush.
I never really studied their styles, never got the opportunity or the time, but I am sure the love of their works has given some imprint in my own style of inking. I enjoy to ink objects like clouds. I really do.
This cloud gave me so much joy to draw.
Hope also you like my clouds. Enjoy the flight.
